Classification of the vessels according to their form. Correspondence of the vessels shape with geometric forms and probable methods for their construction.
We have developed an original general methodology in order to spot the method of construction of ceramic vessels in the Late Bronze Age Aktrotiri civilization. The approach will furnish objective information about the artist or laboratory that made a specific vessel, a fact that will contribute to the knowledge of cultural and commercial links and exchanges between different regions and/or civilizations. The related results will appear in forthcoming publications and they will be uploaded here shortly
