Phase B of the University of Cincinnati regional development study was presented in a conference hosted by the Thera Foundation during the Summer of 2005. The conference was attended by the Mayors of the Local municipalities and other local notables. The objective of the symposium was to enfranchise local communities and allow gradual local ownership of the regional development efforts and the planning and conception stage.
Further work is taking place on the regional development study and will be presented in a 06 or 07 conference. This conference is planned to be a high visabilty event, aimed to include national press and representatives from the Ministry of Tourism and Development.
