Thirasia Morphology
Thirassia has an arched shape and constitutes the northwestern edge of the caldera.
The morphology is much like that of Santorini but on a smaller scale. Flat areas can be found on the western and northern part of the island and cover approximately 15% of its total area (NAMA 1998, v.2, 5).
